During our engagement-/pre-shooting two weeks ago the sun was shining from a deep blue sky. And I nearly prayed that the summer weather we had on Friday would last until Saturday, but the weather god wasn’t with Steffi and Arne. But there’s a quote in Germany: “Regen bringt Segen!” – and that’s what I wish from the bottom of my heart for these two. The rain came as we finished all of the pictures outside with the family and the whole wedding guests, but unfortunately it was cold and windy the whole day. But the love, laughter and warmth during the ceremony filled the hearts of the wedding couple and the guests in church.
So Steffi wasn’t very happy about walking barefoot in the sand, that’s why we switched our shooting location after the wedding in the church in Laboe from the beach to the little center of Stein, which is a small village located next to Laboe. Steffi and Arne were happy to have some moments together, to drink some prosecco and relax with a little bit of laughter and fun together.
Then we headed back to the party location directly at the litte yacht harbor of Laboe and took some group shots. I left the party crowd alone as they started with the buffet. They wanted some privacy during the wedding party…. and I bet they had lots of fun! 😉
If you’d love the pictures of Steffi’s and Arne’s wedding and like to help Steffi and Arne, leave a comment in my blog here – if they have the most comments at the end of the year Steffi and Arne could be the winner of my little blog contest and could get an Amazon Kindle paperwhite.
And if you’d love me to photograph you wedding day either, don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m happy to help! 😉
