Another “Regen bringt Segen”-wedding this year! And this one was a heavy wet one…
I drove through some pouring rain from Kiel to Eckernförde where Mona started her wedding day with her preparations at her dad’s house. Everything was warm and cozy there and my mood switched from gloomy to happy just because of the joy and laughter I experienced there with all the huste and bustle during the preparations from the whole family. Mona looked stunning in her wedding dress and was so nervous that she had butterflies in her stomach – as it should be on your wedding day.
She arrived at the Mühle Anna in Rieseby where Erik was also nervously waiting for her and they experienced a cozy civil ceremony in the museum with closest friends and family.
Afterwards there was a little surprise waiting for the two of them and Erik had to buy their way into a happy marriage with some beer before he could use the best knife.
The coffee table was waiting for the members of the wedding ceremony at the Hotel Seelust in Eckernförde and while everyone was enjoyig some slices of cake, Mona, Erik and I went to the BonbonKocherei Eckernförde for some unusual wedding portraits, because the beach pictures they had envisioned weren’t going to happen, because of the heavy rain and wind we experienced.
If you’d love the pictures of Mona’s and Erik’s wedding and like to help Mona and Erik, leave a comment in my blog here – if they have the most comments at the end of the year Mona and Erik could be the winner of my little blog contest and could get an Amazon Kindle paperwhite.
